SACRE VN4040

Again, like every year, is finalized the census in the square VN4040 for the SACRE, census of breeding common birds, (European Bird Census )
This season I have recorded 58 species, just in the average of the 13 years of censuses.
Two new species for the square, Alpine Swift and Southern Grey Shrike
Until the moment, in the 13 years, there are 98 species recorded. Especially interesting it is that they are also 98 species those that appear for this square, in the Atlas of Nesting Birds of a Province of Burgos of year 1996.
This season I have recorded three species that usually are scarce in the censuses, Nuthatch, Tawny Pipit and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker.
