The best bird records of February in Burgos province.

- Black Vulture (Aegypius monachus). 1 bird 06-02-11 Cavia (Alejandro Tores, Carlos Nazario, Javier Otal). 1 bird 09-02-11 Nebreda (Alfonso Rodrigo García), same bird 12-02-11 (Roberto García Obregón).
- Eurasian Golden Plover (Pluvialis apricaria). 3 birds with a flock of Lapwings 01-02-11 Suzana (David Martínez). 12 birds 05-02-11 Villamorón (Nicolás Gallego). 19-02-11 200 birds Santa Cecilia y Zael (Alfonso Rodrigo García). 100 birds 23-02-11 Atapuerca (Diego Santamaría Merino). 120 birds with a Lapwings 23-04-11 Mahamud y Villahoz (Alfonso Rodrigo García). 1 bird Mecerreyes, with Lapwings, 24-02-11 (Alfonso Rodrigo García). Egret and Curlew

Trip by the county of Bricia and Southern area of water reservoir of river Ebro.
Little Owl, Buntings, Buzzards... in the moor of county of Bricia an highlands with 1000 meters above sea level.
In the water reservoir, Grey Heron, Great White Egret, flocks of Common Coot, Eurasian Curlew, Lapwing, Mallard.... all in the pasture, meadow areas and the areas of low level water. Yellow-legged Gull, Black-headed Gull, Cormorants and Grebes in the open water.
All with good weather and waiting the Spring.
