The route of this journey brought us the record of 44 species, with two interesting records like Honey Buzzard and reproduction of Black-necked Grebe in the Ebro Reservoir.
Following the course of the River Ebro to Pesquera de Ebro we saw several species typical of these dates and noticed the absence of many of the summer we usually see.
The visit to the river allowed us to see the different way of feeding of insectivorous species as the Dipper, feeding inside in the river, and Pied and Spotted Flycatcher with flights behind insects and comeback to perch repeatedly.
Spotless Starlings, Wagtails and Crows, common species in pastures.

As on many other occasions as we approach the Ebro water reservoir, the weather worsens and the wind and rain we receive, but we are wellcome by Wheatears, Chats, Herons and Grebes. All in all, a good day of birding with the most common species of these migration dates.

Many thanks to Dawn, Chris, Jane and Allan to return and again enjoy the birds of Burgos.
